Preliminary fast facts
Who is invited? All adults between ages 18 and 30 years no matter whether single or married. We invite particularily the 'new' Young Single Adults from Hamburg Stake!
Where will we host the convention? At the 'Ostseeheim Stein' in Stein by Kiel. Address: Strandstraße 13, 24235 Stein. You can find our location's website here (in German only).
When is the convention? Beginning on Friday, September 1st, 7 PM; ending on Sunday, September 3rd, approximately 2 PM.

Deadlines
Deadline for registration: August 13th. After that, you can email us for a late registration and we will see how we can make it work.
Deadline for payment of the financial contribution (see below): August 14th.

7-8 PM: Check in & Dinner
At around 8 PM: Announcements and 'official start'
After that: Games Night
From 11 PM on: Torch lit🔥 hike along the coast line (around 6.6 km)
Saturday
10 AM: Breakfast
11 AM: Beginn Spiritual classes
- 11:15 AM: Spiritual classes I
- 12:15 AM: Break/ buffer
- 12:30 AM: Spiritual classes II
1:30 PM: Get ready for beach
2 PM: Lunch
3 PM: Fun at the beach
6 PM: BBQ
From 8 PM on: Dance
Sunday
9 AM: Breakfast
10 AM: Sacrament and Testimony Meeting
11 AM: Sundayschool with President Jensen (Hamburg stake president)
12 AM: Prepare lunch, tidy up & clean
1 PM: Lunch
After that: Going home
Things you should definitely bring
Not a complete packing list!
- Bed sheets and covers. This is a requirement from the inn that we stay in. Furthermore, sleeping bags are not permitted as replacement.
- Towel(s)
- Scriptures
- Beach & bathing stuff
- Sun lotion
- Beach games
- Bord/ card/ other games for the games night
- House shoes, alternatively flip flops. They are always a good thing to have in a non-personal bathroom!
- Proper attire for a dance (casual dress code): preferrably white or neon coloured
- Sunday clothes
- If there is leftover food, you may want to bring some Tupperware for packing a snack for your way home
- No harm in bringing a water bottle
- Yoga mat if you want to join the morning yoga and only in case it does not work out to have the class on the beach
Financial Contribution
"...he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him..."
(2 Nephi 26:33)
It is our wish and the explicit desire of the church that nobody feels excluded from church activities because of their precarious financial situation. If you are not sure whether you can afford coming, sign up anyway! Nobody is rejected because they cannot pay the financial contribution, and it does not make you a second class participant, either.
Yet, since this convention must be paid for somehow, we ask all participants that can afford it to pay the financial contribution, which amounts to 45€.
The financial contribution for new Young Single Adults from Hamburg stake (even 18 or baptised within the last year) is paied for by Hamburg stake. These Young Single Adults are usually invited by mail.

We will collect the money on the bank account of Delingsdorf ward.

Please suggest only music that we would not be embarassed to play if the prophet would listen. (He did not say he'd come, but there's always hope, right?😅)
Service lottery
We would like the convention not to be shouldered by only one or two people. "And now I desire that this inequality should be no more in this land" (Mosiah 29:32) For that reason we will set up a service lottery. We will raffle a number of small services to help us run the convention. That way it is much clearer what and how you can help and the burden is shouldered by more people.
